Sketch live birds. The dynamics of a close view will inspire and engage any level of artist.

This is Bird Arting for fun and preservation awareness. Artist or not, you can capture fleeting moments--It’s just everyday memory drawing. The live bird is handled by a licensed Falconer, who also provides information and answers about birds.

Instructor: Jonqui Albin

Jonqui's works are sourced live, in quick concept sketch-booking and applied action-art-expressions in drawings paintings, sculpture and installations. As a lifetime artist, Jonqui often applies her self-invented techniques and unusual materials. Evolved through art scenes of Los Angeles, Berkely and San Francisco, she is currently based in her Sonoma studio, north of San Francisco. Jonqui began teaching professionally in 2006 teaching students 9 through adult. She worked at the Charles Shultz Museum and has since taught at Sonoma County schools as well as community venues, artist groups, public and private events, and individual studio sessions.
