Description

Learn about a textile art that is similar to tie-dye!

Dating from the 8th century, the earliest example of indigo dyed cloth is called “shibori” in Japanese.

In this class, we will be creating simple & intricate dye patterns using a variety of techniques.

Experience is not necessary, all are welcome!

When: Saturday March 16, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Ages: Teen to Adult

Cost: $35, includes materials

Ashleigh loves to share the joy of creating with others! Her favorite aspect is when the gathering of strangers becomes a group of friends, smiling and proud about creating something new with their hands. Ashleigh believes that a healthy dose of inspiration helps feed our sense of adventure and contributes to our overall health.
