4D Bird Wire Sculpting
Push the boundaries of creativity!
Not magic, just scribble-mesh molding sculpting, shadows are the 4th dimension.
With a live hawk as our model, we will practice conventional drawing as we closely observe posture, form, and motion. With our drawing as a general guideline, we go wild building loose volume by scribbling. That’s the magic. Then we pinch, squeeze and pound the mesh into the form we want. (Scribble-Mesh-Molding wire sculpting without limitations of the armature is Jonqui’s self-invented technique.)
Final artwork can be wall hung, mobile in a window or from a lamp.
Tools provided per session. Hawk, courtesy of Napa Wildlife Rescue, Handler, Carol Pool, Vice President.
